Restoration Developments

The Recovery Strategy preparation process has been highly participatory, and the process continues to evolve. It draws input from the Ebola Relief and support organizations, groups, which comprises representatives from the government and Sierra Leone development partners, including the private sector, non-governmental organizations and civil society. It also takes into account sector and ministerial consultations; inputs from national experts and international missions; the multiagency Ebola Recovery Assessment; and various national and international socio-economic impact studies.

REVIVAL - LOCAL ECONOMIC OPPORTUNITIES

The development objective of the project is to enhance community resilience in Ebola affected communities by supporting economic development. The specific objectives are to support the recovery of the Ebola affected communities through: (i) the restoration of basic social services; and (ii) the revival of local economic opportunities, especially for women through sustained job creation in value adding businesses and markets.
