How will the partnerships and grants help?

As part of its contribution to the Post-Ebola Recovery efforts by Governments and other stakeholders in the Mano River Union, the African Development Bank designed the Post-Ebola Recovery Social Investment Fund (PERSIF) to cover the three (3) most affected countries (Sierra Leone, Liberia and Guinea).

On 21st October 2015, the Boards of Directors approved Grants amounting to UA 20.40 Million for the project comprising: an African Development Fund (ADF) Grant of UA 9 Million and a Rural Water Supply and Sanitation Initiative Trust Fund (RWSSI) TF Grant of EUR 1 Million to the Republic of Sierra Leone.
